Mike Pawley is an Australian former professional cricketer, philanthropist and business owner. He played professional grade cricket for Manly from a young age, as well as 11 first-class cricket matches for New South Wales between 1969/70 and 1973/74.

Mike holds life memberships with the NSW Cricket Association, Manly Warringah Cricket Association and Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association and has had a significant involvement in coaching cricket on the Northern Beaches for almost 60 years!

His contribution to cricket and sport in general was recognised in 2008 with the naming of the sporting fields in Stirgess Ave, Curl Curl to “The Mike Pawley Oval”. And on Australia Day, 2012, Mike was acknowledged for his “service to the sport of cricket in the Manly Warringah area” with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), one of the highest honours bestowed by the Australian government.
